Welcome to our micro bakery, where we specialise in naturally leavened organic products which are additive free and as locally sourced as possible. We bake to order for you on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Every Saturday we bake spare loaves so that you can pop by and grab one if you are in the area and you need more bread! Gates open at 9am. On the second Saturday of each month we open up the bakery for you with an array of produce, from 10am until 12noon (or sold out.)

With loaves made from flour that we mill freshly on demand from organic grains of both black and YQ wheat, as well as dark rye and spelt grain all of which are grown close to home. We do this with a view to giving us more food stability with the wheat being more resilient and varied in strains plus the added bonus for wildlife and our health.  

The following are likely to be freshly baked for you on this open day.

You will be able to see what is on the website in the week leading up to it should you wish to order ahead...these are all sourdough so naturally leavened using a culture of course....

East Coast Rose  - Our Multi-seed tin loaf, in deli rye, with malted barley from Barsham near Wells next the sea

Rye Nerd - 70/30 Made with freshly milled dark rye as 30% of the loaf and organic wheat flour for the remaining 70%

Extra Long Fermented Loaf

Cheese and Marmite

Scandi - dark rye with a hint of caraway

Miso and Sesame Loaf

Ezekiel Bread, higher protein, with added chickpea, split pea, spelt and sprouted grain

Navigator - Classic White

Wholemeal and Greek Olive plump baguettes​​​
